Setforge group is one of the European leaders in the production of forged and machined components in Steel, Aluminum, Titanium and Inconel. As part of its research on new materials, Setforge has developed an innovative solution for shaping continuous and thermoplastic composite fibers : the EPITHER process.

Combining 3D printing and hot compression, EPITHER enables to produce "massive" composite parts with superior mechanical characteristics and with very significant weight savings compared to solutions in steel, aluminium or titanium. This process opens up the possibility of large-scale use of composite parts for critical applications.

During this Webinar, Damien Félix, head of EPITHER project, will present the characteristics and possibilities of this process as well as the various applications for the aeronautical sector.
